Let the Paint Fly

So today I met up with a couple friends from work to paint our models.  It was a lot of fun, 40k is definitely more fun when you have friends who play. These two particular buddies are going to be starting a campaign with another friend and I.  Should be a hard match, Raven Guards 13th Company and the Space Wolves vs two factions of the Dark Eldar. We're still working on the fluff but I'll post more details when we have it figured out.  My buddy Keeter is the one who really got me into the tabletop game and not just the books (he's the one from my intro).  My wife didn't murder him which was a surprise.  My other friend plays the dread Dark Eldar.  We all have different ways of painting, so it was nice to see how other people do it.  We all use relatively the same supplies though.  Walmart paints and brushes.  I have a few brushes from Michael's craft store though.  It all went great, except Keeter kept stopping painting to read my Orcs codex or Inquisition fluff book.  But I suppose its okay since he gave me a terminator assault squad and terminator chaplain.  Pretty badass if you ask me.  Here's a look at the one I worked on tonight (and a shot of my dining room table all setup but after everyone left since I forgot to take pics while people were over):
